When it comes to seeking the professional guidance of expert agents who both understand their areas and the types of property on offer, look no further than Homes of Distinction. Here, we explore the prominent suburb of Buccleuch with our area expert and agent of distinction, Karabo Letsoalo.

Buccleuch at a glance

Located within the affluent area of Sandton, Johannesburg is the well-established suburb of Buccleuch. Known for its leafy, tree-lined streets, this prestigious suburb has expanded in recent years owing to an increase in residential and commercial development.

Buccleuch is located midway between the N1 and the N3; from Durban and OR Tambo International Airport with easy access to both highways via the Woodmead off-ramp along the M1 highway which leads to the N1 and N3 - making for convenient access to the Sandton Central Business District (ideal for those who commute to Sandton).

Area Offerings

Situated along the Jukskei and Modderfontein Rivers, Buccleuch offers a variety of living and real estate options including start-up one and two-bedroom sectional title units, townhouse complexes, secure clusters, large standalone houses, and vacant land on which one can build.

Buccleuch is located close to the Vodacom World of Golf, the Woodmead Retail Park, and is also within a short distance of the Marlboro Gautrain station and Mall of Africa. This makes access to Sandton central a breeze.

The Waterfall Estate, nestled in a pristine valley is one of the top lifestyle estates in the area and it is right on Buccleuch's doorstep. In 2006, the Financial Mail referred to Waterfall City as "the biggest property development in South African history".

With a development like this right next door, property prices in Buccleuch are expected to increase considerably.
