1. The Promoter of this competition is Homes of Distinction. 
2. The competition will run from the 1st of September 2022 to the 30th of January 2023. 
3. To qualify for entry, you need to live in the highlighted area below: Please note that Kyalami is included. 
   
4. Your entry will not be processed if you do not live in this area. If you are unsure if you qualify, please email: Allan Ullyett - allan@homesofdistinction.co.za
5. The Prizes are as follows: 1st PRIZE - Bush break valued at R20 000; 2nd PRIZE - R10 000 in cash; 3rd PRIZE - R5000 nursery voucher and cannot be transferred or changed.
6. Winners will be announced after the duration of the competition via phone call and email. 
7. Entrants will be visited by one of the Homes of Distinction's Property Practitioners to take before and after photos of their chosen category. Entrants will have until the 30th of November to decorate and uplift their selected category before the final images are taken.
8. By entering this competition, you accept and agree to the following terms and conditions governing the competition. Furthermore, you verify that you are aware of any reason legally prohibiting you from entering this competition and if the competition requires the submission of photographs, artwork, or images of people, or of anything else that requires consent or copyright, that you have the necessary consent and authority to do so. Any entrant who contravenes these rules may be disqualified from the competition. 
9. This competition is run by Homes of Distinction, only photos taken by our Property Practitioners will be accepted.
10. To enter the competition: Fill out the attached entry form (link), and one of our Property Practitioners will get in touch with you to organise the photos.
11. The Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions not mentioned hereunder but in accordance with relevant South African legislation. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable for any unforeseen reason.
12. You may not qualify for any of the prize categories if you are a director, member, partner, employee, tenant (or employee of a tenant), agent, consultant, or supplier to the Promoters, or their respective spouses, partners, family members (parents, siblings and children), business partners, or associates.
13. Promoters and their successors, employees, officers, suppliers, contractors, agents, consultants, directors, and shareholders from and against any losses, claims, proceedings, actions, damages, liability for harm, injury or death, demands, expenses, or any costs however arising out of their participation in this competition or their use of the prizes, and/or any person with whom they share that prize.
14. The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this competition.
15. This competition is not in any way affiliated with and/or endorsed by Facebook, Instagram, or any of our digital channels. 
16. Participants understand and agree that in order to qualify for the Competition, the Promoter will need to collect and use personal information to communicate with the participant. This information, once the participants have opted in, will be used for only Homes of Distinction and will not be sold or given to any third party.
17. The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, modify, or amend the Competition at any time, if deemed necessary, in their own opinion or if circumstances arise outside of their control.
18. By entering this competition you are consenting for our property practitioners to communicate with you directly via WhatsApp, phone or email. 
19. We respect your privacy and take it very seriously. We are Homes of Distinction CC, and this is our plan of action for the protection of your personal information. It describes how we collect, use, disclose, and store your personal information. 
20. Homes of Distinction reserves the right to place or use any such advertising material they deem necessary for the area entered in the competition.
