Introducing our newest Agents of Distinction into the fold, Caroline Webb and Heidi Pieterse! We hope they enjoy sharing their experience as professional agents as much as we enjoy having them as a part of our extended family.

Ahead, we speak to both Heide and Caroline to gain a little more insight into who they are, what they're about, and why they're the perfect fit!

Give us a brief description of who you are and what you did before joining Homes of Distinction

Caroline: I have almost 30 years of work experience within various industries from retail, aviation, and recruitment, to the hospitality industry. I've definitely seen my fair share of unique and different industries and have made a successful career out of all of them.

I intend to do the same at Homes of Distinction!

Heidi: Most of my career has been within sales around various industries. Most recently advertising sales. Since 2015, I have had my permanent makeup and aesthetics salon in Johannesburg North, Pritchard street, called Permalicious Ink and Beauty which is still currently in practice.

I intend to use new and creative ways to help me close the deal!

What makes you an Agent of Distinction? (Your unique selling points)

Caroline: I would like to think of myself as being extremely approachable. I believe I put my clients at ease since I know they feel comfortable around me. Coming from a sales background, I would have to keep pushing forward. I know with my approachable attitude and positive outlook, I'll be selling homes in no time! That to me is the hallmark of an Agent of Distinction.

Heidi: I am passionate about property! Seeing potential in every home and relaying that to the next buyer is part of what excites me. Keeping the buyer intrigued about the possibilities and giving them a vision of living in that space to me is key.

Bringing excitement and passion about your product works wonders because people buy from people, not just names on a board. They need to feel your energy and excitement. Being able to run both my own small business and sell homes while doing it is, I believe, a mark of an Agent of Distinction.

Tell us more about why you chose to work for Homes of Distinction.

Caroline: I first spoke with fellow Agent of Distinction, Colleen Green about my potential in real estate and she immediately recommended Homes of Distinction. From there, it was simply a matter of meeting the team and learning about how we function as a business. I immediately felt like the next addition to our large and inclusive family.

Heidi: I love the fact that it feels like a family. You're not just a corporate number. Everyone helps each other to achieve extraordinary things and there is always someone to approach when you need help. How can you not succeed with a team like Homes of Distinction behind you?

What is it about Homes of Distinction that raises it above other Real Estate agencies?

Caroline: Homes of Distinction agents go the extra mile. Not only this, but our unique marketing strategy means that there are always eyes on your property at any given time.

An up and coming agent needs tips to succeed in real estate, what would your advice be?

Caroline: One of the most crucial attributes an agent needs is tenacity and brilliant people skills. If you're a natural orator and have a warm personality. You'll definitely go places!

Heidi: Talk to everyone. Networking is a big part of what is needed to be a successful agent. There is a lead in everyone and every corner but if you don't talk the talk you'll never find it! Keep learning... there is so much knowledge available to keep yourself updated. Especially if you're a fellow Agent of Distinction.
