Lilies have been loved for generations as a luxurious and essential flower for most formal events.   • Lilies are available in a wide variety of colours ranging from white to peach, yellow to bright pinks oranges and reds.
  • Lilies give off a luxurious fragrant scent which attracts pollinators to the garden including bees and butterflies.
  • Lilies are grown from bulbs which can be separated every two to three years for additional bulbs.
  • They are a perennial flower that will return year after year.
  • Lilies don’t require much maintenance and attention to thrive provided their water requirements are met. Water regularly and use mulch over bulbs and to help retain water.
  •  Lilies can be susceptible to grey mould, aphids, and snails.
  • For a dense patch of lilies, plant the bulbs 20-30cm deep and in clusters about 15-20cm apart.
