Can a horse walk backwards?
Believe it or not, it is utterly irrational for a horse to walk backwards, it requires actual training, and instead, the horse will turn around rather than walk backwards. In posing this question to my Property Practitioners, friends and family, they were all surprised by the answer.
This got me thinking about a few life analogies.
Move forward
Always find a way to move forward! The past doesn't exist, it is a memory, so we don't repeat the mistakes, so don't harp on it. Learn the lesson and move forward. By letting go of resentment and the weight of past grievances, we become open and accepting of new experiences and possibilities. We can achieve things beyond what we thought possible. Set goals, choose, and take steps towards personal growth and fulfilment.
Embrace Change
The other is that we can train parts of ourselves to do the things that we don't like. Getting out of our comfort zone and applying discipline to grow is challenging but necessary, even if we must learn to walk backwards.
Consumer Confidence is at an all-time low
In a jarring turn of events, the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) plummeted to an astonishing low, shattering a record that stretched back 42 years. The reverberations of this collapse echoed through the economic landscape, testing our resilience and resolve. Yet, in such adversity, we must summon our strength, dust ourselves off, and forge ahead with unwavering determination. For it is during these challenging times that we have the opportunity to rise, adapt and chart a new course towards a brighter future. Learn to walk backwards but challenge yourself to keep moving forward.
With Spring just around the corner, we look forward to a busy few months and hope that if you are looking to sell your property, you will call on us.
Take care,
